Aid for the Hubei province against the coronavirus

ORU Fogar makes a call to help Hubei province in the fight against the coronavirus, through the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development.

On September 5 and 6, ORU Fogar signed an agreement with the Chinese paradiplomatic organization, the CFFPD. This agreement culminated the approach of both organizations and should allow a collaboration framework between ORU Fogar and the Chinese provinces, in which exchanges of experiences and the signing of agreements on governance, climate change, economic, urban and territorial development, and communication in the youth field. This agreement should now provide support for the help of the entire ORU Fogar network to the province of Hubei.

Recently, the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus has occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province and many other areas of China. A total of 24,363 confirmed cases and 23,260 suspected cases have been reported in the country by the end of February 5, 2020.

Thus the CFFPD decide to launch the "Stay together with Hubei Privince-- CFFPD emergency philanthropic program against the new pneumonia". From now on, we are going to accept donations of materials and funds from people from all walks of life at home and abroad for the prevention and control of the new pneumonia in Hubei Province.

1. Material donations

The materials include medical protective clothing, N95 face-mask, medical (surgical) mask, positive pressure protective clothing, protective mask, goggles, disinfectant, etc.

Materials unrelated to epidemic prevention and control are not accepted.

2. Cash donations

Received money will be used for the prevention and control of the new pneumonia in Hubei Province.

3. Ways of donations

1）China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development will receive relevant materials and send them to receiving organizations designated by the new pneumonia prevention and control headquarters in Hubei Province.

4. Funds and materials management
