Meeting with the Piedmont region

Profiting from his presence in the High-Level Global Dialogue on Localizing held in Turin on the 14th and 15th of October, ORU-Fogar’s President, Paúl Carrasco, held a meeting with the Piedmont region. In the absence of the region’s President, Sergio Chiamparino, he met with the Minister Monica Cerutti, responsible in the regional government for external policies, cooperation, civil rights and immigration. President Carrasco explained ORU-FOGAR’s areas of work to the Minister and invited the Italian region to join the organization. He also asked the Minister to open the door for ORU-Fogar to the rest of the Italian regions, taking advantage of the fact that President Chiamparino is also the President of the Conferenza dei Presidenti delle Regioni since July 2014.
