Practice submitted to ORU Fogar’s II Regional Best Practice Award by the Government of Jalisco (México) on the 31st of Mary 2017, with input record number 20 and a total score of 519 points.
MIDE Jalisco (Monitoring of Jalisco’s Development Indicators, México) is the strategy for public monitoring of the achievement of the indicators’ goals set in and linked to Jalisco’s State Development Plan 2013-2033, which implies coordinating from the definition to the regular follow up of the metrics (indicators and goals) that monitor the achievement of the development goals. This coordination is carried out through the collaborative work of 35 agencies and entities of the subnational government, as well as the Citizens Council MIDE Jalisco. The monitoring is public and permanent, available on a dynamic platform, with a simple Language and analysis tools available at https://seplan.app.jalisco.gob.mx/mide/panelCiudadano/inicio MIDE Jalisco is an exemplary and innovating practice as regards to open data, specialised citizen participation and accountability at a subnational level.
