The San Antonio de Cajamarca Workshop School (ETSAC) was born in 2017 as an institutional project of the Government of Cajamarca supported by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) to train young people aged 16 to 30 years free of charge through comprehensive scholarships , with gender equality, from vulnerable sectors of the population of traditional neighborhoods of the historic center and urban-rural areas, in traditional trades linked to the conservation of cultural heritage and associated economic activities, contributing to their labor insertion and making possible the sustainability of the cultural heritage.

The general objective is to contribute to the development and improvement of the living conditions of the Cajamarca population through the conservation, enhancement and sustainable management of its historic center, improving the training and productive insertion of young people in trades linked to cultural heritage. , within the framework of the priority of the fight against poverty.
