The OPCC works to face climate change in the Pyrenees from the perspective of cross-border cooperation, as a single bioregion that knows no administrative limits. The Pyrenean Observatory of Climate Change, OPCC, aims to monitor and understand the phenomenon of climate change in the Pyrenees to help the territory adapt to its impacts. Its vision is to be the reference platform on knowledge on adaptation to climate change in mountain ecosystems. Among the achievements obtained are the presentation of a report on "Climate change in the Pyrenees: impacts, vulnerabilities and adaptation" carried out in 2018 in which More than 100 experts participated and that supposes a wide scientific consensus for the Pyrenean territory, the ediatic repercussion of this report that reached 15 million people, the ability of the OPCC to lead and participate in different international projects from different European programs, and , in short, the positioning of the OPCC as a reference platform on knowledge in adaptation to climate change in ecosystems and socio-economic mountain sectors
