On March 12, 2020, the GAD of the Province of Pichincha implemented the Comprehensive Center for the Protection of Rights, called "Warmi Pichincha" in which specialized care services are provided in legal, psychological and social work areas, for the restitution of rights of women victims of gender-based violence, as well as LGBTIQ + people. Specifically, it offers a set of free services that aim to protect, enforce, resolve and prevent the violation of the rights of women, girls, boys, adolescents and people of sexual and gender diversity who are victims of gender violence in the urban sectors and rural parishes of the cantons of the province of Pichincha.
