The Disaster Response Program of the Department of Regional Government of Santa Cruz (DPTO) consists of bringing together organized civil society and all institutions and productive sectors to address and safeguard life, property, food security and the environment from the effects and damages of emergency situations and/or disasters caused by different adverse events in the Autonomous Territorial Entities (ETAs) and to strengthen resilience of the most vulnerable, through knowledge management (development and use of new technologies and strengthening the institutional capacities of the ETAs of the department of Santa Cruz, within the framework of current regulations and humanitarian principles.
